Stayed here overnight whilst attending a gig at the venue next door. Room was slightly small but spotless though shower could have been stronger. Stayed here Saturday night for a gig next door at the actual venue, excellent location very friendly staff and no hassle, breakfast good, close to tram stop and another pub the white rose short walk away. if you are going to a gig at the Robin 2 stay here excellent value and location.

I've stayed at the Robin about six times as its really convenient after seeing a gig. The rooms are always comfortable and clean and the breakfast is superb. Used this hotel twice now. It is pretty basic, but personally I'm not looking for anything flashy after a gig. It has been clean and functional on both occasions. The staff are very friendly and the eatery upstairs lays on a cool breakfast, from very pleasant staff.

not a bad place to stay at all ... cheap and cheerful...the rooms are clean but very small... the one i was in was unbearably hot ...even with the window open there was no air... lots of road noise even with the 'secondary double glazing' in place also people arriving and leaving the venue ..my room was on the front...
