Amazing. Splurge on the last day of vacation for the panorama suite. Worth it! Views over the vines to the Rhine. Dined in the 2nd restaurant – just fine. Pictures of the room show how splendid. Front desk service is amongst the top we have had in Europe. Totally recommended!

Went for a business conference and was pleasantly surprised with the nice hotel. The in room bar was all free to have! So were the small and nice additions to the room. All in all it was a semi 5* experience in 4 star property. The room service was prompt and overall the hotel left little to complain.

While this is probably among the best places in the region for family events (weddings, anniversaries) or business retreates, it can also serve as a very comfortable basis for excursions in the "Rheingau" area, even if only for a night, provided you have a car.

Parts of the hotel are newly renovated, modern and very nice. We spent 1 night in the renovated rooms that were tastfully furnished and offered Hermes amenities in the bathroom. It has to mentioned that there was no bathtub in my room. If you set value on a bathtub you should explicitly mention it at booking.
