I found this pension via the Rough Guide to poland, where it is described as the "best place to stay" in Bieszczady. The proprietors only speak fluent Polish and German, however they know enough English to get by.
I can't comment on the Rough Guide's review, as it was the only place we stayed in Bieszczady, however it was certainly excellent. The room was fine, bathroom roomy and shower was hot and powerful. The latter was important to us as we were on a walking holiday (4 nights here). It is reachable by bus - there's a stop at the bottom of the hill and it's a short walk (unless you hve a lot of luggage!) - we had the luxury of a car for the week. The food - we had breakfasts and evening meals, were excellent, and varied.
It is in an ideal position to explore the Bieszczady - the highest peak is a 20 minute drive or bus-ride away, and Wetlina is in a valley with several criss-crossing trails - you can walk to the Ukraine/Slovak borders within a couple of hours from...
