I booked a stay for 1 night at the last minute and got a deal for DBL room with breakfast for 65€ (normal price was over 100€). You definitely need a car to get there, it is located near a roadway. The room and overall the hotel was clean, though I wouldn't give it 4 stars, maybe 3 the most.... more

This hotel was refurbished 18 months ago, when a Spa ('Thermen') was added, together with a lovely garden and a large terrace. It is only 5 minutes from the main highway to Maastricht, but as you are surrounded by forest, it is very quiet. The breakfast at this hotel is excellent. We should have listened to the only other reviewer! We booked online hoping the four star claim and the "junior suite" would be reasonable. They claimed a "king size bed" which turned out to be only two small twin mattresses pushed together. They admitted at reception they had NO kingsized beds. We don't have a car, but we were told that we could easily reach the hotel by public transportation. We took the train to station Sittard and looked for a cab. No cab, so we called the hotel. I contacted the hotel in advcance to ask the price of a taxi. They told me it would cost between 10-12,50 euro's.... more
