Recently stayed here on a business trip and it was like stepping back into 1970's Crossroads motel style. Rooms were in serious need of decoration and the level of comfort was akin to an Ibis hotel. Clean enough (just) and food in restaurant was ok but I will not be rushing back

We came from our town by car just for the connected Thermen. We can't say anything about the hotel and the restaurant, but we were just shocked about the fact that the Thermen was forbidden to enter without badsuits. I booked a stay for 1 night at the last minute and got a deal for DBL room with breakfast for 65€ (normal price was over 100€). You definitely need a car to get there, it is located near a roadway. This hotel was refurbished 18 months ago, when a Spa ('Thermen') was added, together with a lovely garden and a large terrace. It is only 5 minutes from the main highway to Maastricht, but as you are surrounded by forest, it is very quiet. The breakfast at this hotel is excellent. We should have listened to the only other reviewer! We booked online hoping the four star claim and the "junior suite" would be reasonable. We don't have a car, but we were told that we could easily reach the hotel by public transportation. We took the train to station Sittard and looked for a cab. No cab, so we called the hotel.
