We spent 1 night at this hotel and it was an interesting experience. I made reservations about 2 weeks before arrival and even requested if they had a package with dinner and a sailing trip for 1 night only. They advertised on their website for a package for 2 nights already. However, the only reply was: yes we have a room. Then a requested the boot again and the reservation lady came back to me indicating it would cost 91 Euro for an afternoon.....

When we arrived on Sunday morning at 11 am there was only a coffee lady at the hotel who did not know anything about our reservation. Interesting, so we decided to check out the other hotels in this very very tiny village (one street). The rest did not look very promising and up to our standards so we decided to stick to Huys ter Laeck.
The website pictures look really beautiful and they tried to refurbish the hotel to look designy but the ceilings gave away it was still a seventies place. The restaurant lacked the coziness it... more
