We stayed here for 2 night in early May. The reservations had been made by our friends that we were travelling with and we couldn't have been happier with their choice. You have to take a short ferry ride to get to Ardgour, but it was well worth the extra effort. Anna and Norrie are excellent hosts and the property... More

Ard Daraich goes from strength to strength. We repeated our stay of last year in the cottage and found even more to inspire us. The view of the mountains and Loch Linnhe from the back of Anna and Norrie's garden is stunning - look at it sitting on their bench over a glass of wine after the Corran ferry has... More

I write this as a late response. But have thought about my stay there ever since we departed. My partner organised a long awaited getaway. I adore the west coast but had never been on the Corran ferry and that area before. I am smitten. When we arrived it just all hit us. The hills, cold, fresh air, happier people... More

My family (wife and 17 year old son) and I were lucky enough to stay at Ard Daraich at the end of August. Just a short ferry ride from the main road up to Fort William, this guesthouse is well worth the diversion. Despite being just a short hop across the Loch this part of Scotland runs at a much... My family and I stayed at Ard Daraich in July. We enjoyed a wonderful three night stay, with our warm hosts Norrie and Anna, who went out of their way to be helpful. The property itself if an absolute gem and is beautifully furnished within. The location is stunning; situated next to the Loch and enjoying panoramic views back to... More

We have had a great holiday touring Scotland for the first time. We were delighted with our one night stay at Ard Daraich and would have loved to have spent more time with Norrie & Anna. They were very interesting hosts and they booked an evening meal for us at an idyllic restaurant in a remote picturesque location. It rained... More

We stayed two nights at Ard Daraich which we found via the About Scotland website and had a lovely time. Anna & Norrie are very convivial and welcoming hosts and live in a beautiful part of the world. Our downstairs room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and great shower in the en suite. We... More

The rooms are beatifully decorated with traditional furniture, one of the bathrooms has a freestanding bath and in the sittingroom there is a fireplace which are lit on cold days. The garden is inspiring to explore. We had a tasteful breakfast and afterwards we were invited to move the new chickens! Norrie and Anna were generous with advice on what... More

We had the pleasure of spending the last couple of nights of our holiday here (B&B). The hospitality, friendliness and relaxed atmosphere that Anna and Norrie offer made this feel like home from home. With its amazing scenery and tranquility, the Lochaber region should be on everyone's 'must visit' list when visiting Scotland. Ard Daraich offers fantastic B&B accomodation (and... More
