I stayed here for one night with a party of 18. On arrival the "manager" handed our keys to another guest in our party so that they could show them where our room was situated. The manager seemed totally disinterested - no welcome, no information about the hotel...no communication at all. (He spent most of the day sitting at the... more

Really a pretty grim, grimey and uninspiring place. Needs completely gutting and rethinking. The service is not totally unfriendly but hardly professional (is it usually such a surprise to be asked for tea and toast with your breakfast?) Decor is hideous and just a mish mash of odds and ends, every light in our room was broken (we had one... more

We were meant to be staying at Travelodge but no water in room when we arrived so we were sent to this place. On the plus side, we got a good breakfast at no charge and I thought the staff were nice enough. The 2 rooms we had though were terrible, they absolutely stank, there were hairs on the tea... more

When we couldn't find a hotel closer to Stonehenge, we opted for this one. Access to the wing with our room involved carting our luggage through the restaurant and past several freezers. There was an odd odor in the room which they attempted to mask with some sort of deodorizer. The carpets were very old and it might have been... more

Urm .... slightly strange Hotel. Was probably Ok when it was first built. Reception service was somewhat stern. Told resturant was closed although we'd rung ahead to check. Room large but had no hot water ... water pressure too low for it to reach the shower head. Breakfast (Good) at last we'd found something, just as we were leaving. I... more

I've just looked at some of the reviews and can't believe it's still in the same state as when we went in 2006. The room was on the ground floor, was dated, smelly and unpleasant. The food was actually quite nice on the Friday night, but on the Saturday night we only had the same choice as the night before... more

I've stayed here before (re article : better than travel lodge) and once again made a quick stop on my way over and back from Cornwall. Just wanted to add that the rooms on the first floor are by far superior to the ground floor ones. All rooms on the ground floor basically smell musty/damp etc... and you can't leave... more

There were no available rooms in Salisbury, and when we arrived here it was a godsend. The reviews on here are quite unfair. No it's not a five star hotel but you aren't paying for one either. The room and bathroom were clean (we had hot water). There was no musty smell while we were there. The staff were extremely... more

This hotel reminds me of Fawlty Towers! Having stayed in numerous hotels around the UK, this is by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in! The hotel do not do anything HOT!, no hot food & no hot water!!, I was unable to even shower for the night that I was there! and the pool heater was broken... more
