Mrs and I stayed 6 nights Sept 8-14, 2009. No problem with early checkin from JFK-Shannon flight. Breakfast excellent. Complained about hot water, or the lack of it, they offered to change rooms. Maid / Service staff were basically Eastern European, but being a retired New York Area Fireman I knew enough Polish etc to get what I wanted. more

Excellent value @ 28 euros per night room only ( mid week & booked online). Spacious & well equipped room with seating area (2 easy chairs & coffee table) tea & coffee provided & excellent range of UK channels on the TV. I took breakfast & evening meals at the hotel and found the food to be good quality and... more

I would look for an alternative in the area. I've never left a review before for any hotel, but I think this one deserved one and a bad one at that. The hotel looks well from the outside but the room we stayed in was run down and in need of some serious work, cracks in the walls, flaking paint... more

The hotel looked impressive from the outside. Rooms in serious need of updating cobwebs on corridors and shower head in bathroom was full of mould. Bar food menu had a wide choice but the food was terrible. Staff totally disinterested in customers, aside from one very welcoming receptionist when we checked in. The owners would do well to impress upon... more

It's no 5 star hotel, but for the price it's perfect. A bit far outside of town but excellent if you have a car and want to take some day trips. The facility is very nice; huge gym, restaurant, bar, and a large nice room. The free wireless internet worked just fine when we were there (from public areas only,... more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lobby decor was very nice & modern but that was the only good thing about this hotel. Bar Food was the worst food I have got in a long time and the service was very poor. The hotel seemed to be very understaffed. There was no aerial for our tv in the room so had... more

We have just stayed at the Hotel Clybaun for 3 nights as we travelled over to Ireland for a wedding. We found the staff helpful and friendly, rooms were cleaned daily and breakfast was of a good standard. My husband used the gym and had no complaints about this. The worst thing I could say about the hotel is that... more

From the day we checked in until the day we checked out our stay was one of the most pleasant that we have yet experience. On checking in we were greeted by a friendly team of efficient receptionists. On reading previous comments I wasnt expecting the hotel to offer much in means of service and quality, however i can contradict... more
