Beautiful view from the hotel of the valley of McleodGanj and southern Himalaya mountains. Food was good and the staff were very service minded. Hotel is situated outside of the "centre" so it has tranquil surroundings.

Located a short walk down the hill from the Dalai Lama complex in mcleodganj, the new Varuni house was decent. They are making improvements and under new management. The new owner is very kind and friendly. The room was clean and simple. For traveling on a budget, this is not a bad option.
