My husband and I decided to do our first family vacation with our 6 month old daughter. Our trip started on June 5, 2008 and our first few days in Newfoundland were spent at River Tides B&B in Sandy Point, Newfoundland.
The newly built house was on a large piece of land surrounded by tall trees, natural landscaping and to top it off a large river to watch the tides and see the sunset at nighttime. The hosts of the B&B were very welcoming and I really felt like I was with family. The interior of the house had radiant heated Hardwood floors. There was a private entrance where you enter into the one bedroom with a queen bed, adjacent to that a private bathroom and then another bedroom with two single beds. All of the rooms were very clean and had nice touches such as robes and a flat screen TV in the queen room. Our hosts had a variety of breakfast items for us in the mornings and always a pot of coffee on.
