We found badwell online whilst looking for a relaxing break after a rather stressfull time at both home and work.We booked it with our friends Alan & Caryl just to have a weekend doing absolutely nothing and no phones ringing!! Even though it was a very wet weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The welcome pack was very extensive... More

We stayed in the Woodpecker Lodge from 30th March to 2nd April 2012. What can we say and where do we start?! AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! The lodges were clean, cosey and had everything needed to make the stay comfortable and more! The hot tub was fab, and so relaxing and cooling in the sun. Best of all, the surroundings were... More

Arranged to stay for 2 nights with Clare, the setting was beautiful, and the lodge was beautiful. Couldn't ask for more from Clare, even the resident cat was lovely! 2 blacks swans and ducks greeted us in the morning and my other half even threw them some bread which they loved! The highlight of the trip was the evening session... More

We booked here last minute and Clare was so helpful from that first phone call, nothing was too much trouble. Arrived next afternoon and was made to feel so welcome. The lodges have everything you need and the shower / steam / sauna is fantastic. The hot tub is amazing, we had brilliant weather for this time of year and... More

On arrival, greeted by the owners with beaming smiles, the lodges are just perfectly kept, welcome hamper has all you need to get you started, and of course the hot tub.... This makes it from good to excellent... Will be... More

We stayed as a group of friends hiring two lodges for a four day break. Our friends stay frequently and organised this trip. Wow! I have stayed at similar log cabins before but this was different, luxurious. Wonderful location, quiet but easily accessible by car to Bury St Edmonds (15 minutes) lovely landscaped gardens and well kept grounds. Clare was... More

Well day 2 and thought I would write my review. I am here with my otherhalf and some good friends. We are staying in Hero and they are in wagtail. The location is secure, safe and so so peaceful. You are warmly welcomed by the owners and led to your accommodation for the week. Each cabin surrounds the beautiful lake... More
