My wife and I met Charlie Glaus on the terrace at the dinner hour. We were brought there by the tourist information office at Bellazona. Mr Glaus took us as his personal responcibility to show us thevalleys into the alps. We were taken by train to Sonona and given bicycles to ride down the valley, stopping at small villages for hot chocolate served by the hostesses from the towns. We went on thursday to Sonona the village bake day. They bake bread in a stone oven. Charlie served us the bread each morning of our ten day stay for breakfast on the terrace. Everything about the hotel's appointments were so cleverly designed. In fact in our travels Albergo Losone has always been the most unique of hotels. Jodie & Ric
