This hotel is definitely a remnant of the cold war! I have stayed there on several occasions for business. The staff was nice for the most part. The rooms are large and open with very high ceilings. However, the furniture in the rooms was of low quality. Do not get a room facing the town square! Although the view and the balconies are beautiful, the quality of glass used in the panes is residential in grade, not commercial. The cathedral across the street has a very active clock, which chimes are active through the night.
The food is very good. The hotel's chef has some local notoriety.
I enjoyed all of my stays at the Kapos!
