We had a wonderful walking holiday with excellent accommodation at the Pirila Hotel. The hotel is run by an English couple, Hazel and Dave who provided a variety of food with a Bulgarian emphasis, and they were very hospitable throughout our stay. Having spent a week in the Pirila Mountain Hotel on a walking holiday I can certainly recommend it. The hosts David and Hazel provided an excellent service with David producing the food (excellent and plenty of it), and Hazel providing the transport and support for the walks. The walks were geared to suite the experience and needs of the walkers... More
