We used Logis de France to find a small hotel in a pretty location. This hotel in Montherme particularly appealed.

Montherme is at the confluence of the Meuse and Semoy rivers and the old town is contained in a peninsular formed by a loop of the river. The hotel is on the outside bend of the river about 10 minutes walk over the bridge connecting the two parts.

The hotel is located just opposite the Information Office on a quiet side street with parking for about 5 cars. There is a free public car park over the main road. The main building is quite old but most of the rooms are in a more modern extension.

Reception by the French speaking lady was very friendly and helpful, and checkout later was by the very friendly English speaking owner.

Our room was well equipped with storage space and a comfortable bed, TV and phone. The bathroom was quite large with WC, washbasin and shower. Towels were replaced daily. Tablet soap was provided but no... more
