Really helpful staff, excellent location (5min to the beach, so it is calm) and very good community area to talk and meet with other travellers. I also liked the colorful appearance. Rooms are ok, nothing special, but clean and tidy. Good value for your money.

We stayed in April 2013. The room with air-con is good, clean bathroom. Easy to access beach within 5-7 mins walking distance. For family room behind reception lounge, it is pretty hotter but at night it is still okay. We paid Rm160 for 1 day with 2 rooms for 7 pax. It is really cheap!

For the price you pay, it's alright and plenty of people hang out at the cafe. Free wifi since there is no 3G in this area. Short walk to the beach, a decent stay and stopover before I head to Koh Lipe. Taxis know this place and cost around RM18

Either private room or dorm, doesn't matter. This place was excellent and our holiday in Langkawi was amazing! We stayed in a private (fan) room for few days before moved in to a dorm as we also want to hang out with another people and guess what? We made a right decision. The dorm is not that bad at all....
