We spent three nights at this lovely little hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is (almost) on the banks of the Dordogne - separated by a small, little used road - with wonderful views. Our room was small but thoughtfully appointed - plenty of space for clothes and that rare convenience in hotels, lots of shelves and places to... More

We only had one night in this hotel but were very impressed with the location, the sincere hospitality of the hostess and the general ambience of the building inside and out. There was a lovely patio and garden area at the front, a small, but pretty, view of the river from our room and the decor in our room was... More

What a wonderful hotel, and to be treated like family by Madam et Monsieur was a lovely touch. The vin peche is the secret, together with great food, lovely views of the river, and convenient access to Sarlat, Marqueyressac and the other bastide towns. Glorious and I'd go back tomorrow!

Stayed only one night as passing through but certainly wished to stay longer, and will go back. As others report, it is in a pleasant village, overlooking the river and very well laid out. The decor is refined and very well maintained. The hosts are charming and helpful, and the food....is not only excellent, but good value. Overall, this hotel... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. The hotel is small, in a small village, but right by the banks of the Dordogne. It is spotlessly clean, quiet, with good food at a reasonable price, and the very best hospitality provided by the owners personally. For example, we had to leave... More

From the wonderfully warm greeting, the glass of vin peche, a superb dinner, to our departure after a delicious breakfast, everything was superb. A perfect host and hostess.

Last time I wrote a review on these pages it was because an expensive hotel in England was so dreadful. This, on the other hand, is a pleasure to write because the Cote Rivage is a great place to stay for a short break and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The most notable aspect of the stay was the incredible frendliness... More

This small hotel is near Bergerac and east of Lalinde, on the Dordogne river. The 7 rooms are small but cozy, clean, with reading lights, TV, wi-fi, air conditioning, phone, hair dryer, small clean baths with shower. We loved our queen bedded room off of an upper terrace, where we could enjoy a morning coffee or an evening beverage with... More
