4 day DBB break, no heating in room first two nights, had to request it, no one appeared to know what time it should come on. Booked a superior room, no lamp in shaving mirror, wallpaper hanging from bathroom ceiling, taps dripping and room main light dusty. Food good and bed clean. They did reduce my room rate.
Went there on a quiet Sunday evening. The staff were very pleasant and the food delicious. Definitely the place to eat when visiting the area.

We went on a groupon weekend which was fantastic value. As other reviewers have said
the rooms were a bit tired although our friends did have a newly refurbished one in the annexe.
The best parts were the food which was really excellent and the staff who were wonderfully friendly and helpful, especially Debbie and Chris.
