These are surprisingly well furnished and equipped rooms above a genuine, friendly pub. The pub is vibrant and is used by locals, which I enjoyed more than I would enjoy a tourist haunt. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not bargain prices, but worth it for their high standard. more
Double bed squeezed into single room space, bedside lights not reachable, room not serviced, rubbish left from previous guest, cooked breakfast oil rich and rubbery eggs, sleep disturbed by bar noise, tardy management style. more
Extremley disappointed my the customers comments. All of the staff did everything to make this couples stay an enjoyable one. They were asked several times if everything was OK to which they replied YES. Problems cannot be rectified if were not informed of them. I take extremely personnaly the nasty comment of tardy management style and feel very let down...
The room was comfortable but with no bedside lamps; our friends' room was cramped and looked over the back yard. Music and noise from below kept us awake on saturday night. Breakfasts were poor: eggs overcooked and hard. The rooms were not serviced and we were unexpectedly asked to pay cash. more
