We have recently enjoyed a weekend break in Goathland and after reading positive reviews on Trip Advisor, decided to stay at the Moorhaven. Booking our room was painless and upon arriving, we found the rooms to be very comfortable and homely. In keeping with the romance of Heartbeat, the place had a lovely feel to it. Our room had a... Had a break away from work in Ireland across the whole of Yorkshire back last October and stayed in this lovely B&B, really reasonably priced for an Irish Paddy like myself! Large full English breakfast which was lovely, very relaxed and really enjoyed chatting to Cath the owner, a lovely lady with a wealth of knowledge about the village! Loads... More

A great place to stay with comfy beds clean rooms, plenty of towels. Lovely breakfast with good tea or coffee and tons of toast, what more do you need. If you have motor bikes Cath can lock them up safe and sound. Also if you have a dog that's welcome too.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the en suite room, which overlooked the front .Sheep marched up and down the road oblivious to passing traffic. Unfortunatrly the weather was awful though the sun was out on the day of departure. Breakfast was served at 8.30,fruit, cereal, full english and apot of tea and toast. We will return Cath x

We have stayed at Moorhaven on a number of occasions over the past 15 years. The B&B is run very well by Cath, she is friendly and knowledgable about the local area. Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable (one is en-suite). The shower is superb! Breakfasts set you up for the day with an unlimited supply of tea, coffee and... More

Part of the charm of tiny Goathland, a village high on the Yorkshire Moors, is the sheep that belong to the Duchy of Lancaster. These black-faced sheep have a common right extending back for hundreds of years to graze on the village green and surrounding moorland. We chose to stay at Moorhaven B&B while visiting because it looked cute and... More
