This is our local restaurant. we love it, wehad our first date here nearly 10 years ago. Like Sunday evening quite often just turn up and they always get us in. Food very good good range and just a great place to eat. Would recommend it. We have never stayed there though as we live so local !!

Paid a second visit to this pub this year and can thoroughly recommend it. Food is excellent, and staff very friendly and helpful. Only slight downside is that it is now part of the Greene King empire (despite the Freehouse sign outside), but the Morlands Bitter I had was well kept.
