Stayed for 1 night for bed and breakfast. The pub is very old and as expected had very steep spiral stairs from the bar to the rooms, although these can be accessed from outside via a fire escape. Ate here recently with friends. Great food with very good sounding specials on the board. Had my old favourite -scampi and chips which was as good as any I have had before. Very nicely cooked and good size portion. Staff very friendly. Wil be back.

Stopped here for lunch by chance as we walked by. Staff (in particular Dave) were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Food was good, beer was good and they are dog friendly. What more could we ask for? In fact we returned again during on our holiday. Might be wise to book if planning an evening
