We stayed for one night whilst down in Yeovil for a family wedding. Bedrooms were delightful - clean, spacious, well laid out and with everything you could wish for. Staff were kind, courteous and very helpful. Food was delicious. Would recommend this hotel to all to stay in. more

A great Friday night stopover on way to Cornwall. Excellent bistro pub grub, very friendly and welcoming bar, clean and tidy room. Car park at the rear. A few minutes from A303. Will definately stay again. more

I have stayed at many old fashioned small English Hotels and this is one of my favorites. The restaurant and bar are very nice, the staff is friendly and Ilchester is very convenient to Yeovil. Very very good from start to finish. I understand they recently underwent some changes. I travel a lot with work and very rarely am I spurred to right reviews. On arriving and checking out found staff rude. Shower in bathroom leaking badly when we told them about it they said it’s been like that for a while but they did get some one to look at it but they just made it so we could not use it. Would not recommend people to stay here. more

Stayed for 4 days on business, June 2004. Rooms nice and clean, friendly bar staff, but the best thing is the food. Really good quality, really well priced. more
