Came for a hen night. It is dreadful here. The water in the swimming pool is freezing cold. The aromotherapy room smells unpleasant. The beautician has chiped nail varnish. Not the treat we were expecting.

This hotel and spa was faultless, my daughter and I went and everything was perfect, the room, the staff, the food , everything! without a doubt I will be going again.We were still there on Monday and it was so quiet we had the swimming pool to ourselves for over an hour then only 3 people joined us.

We enjoyed every minute from the moment that we arrived. Room - spotless and big enough. Spa, Gym and Pool - very competent staff and great facilities. Food - well prepared, cooked and served. Reception staff - terrific. Waitresses could relax a little but are very keen to help and please. Will definitely return.

This is an excellent venue, classy, quirky, comfortable, great food but no espresso available after a great meal! Just filter coffee. I was so disappointed. We were in York for few days for an European project for Eco-tourism and we had the chance to stay in this hotel. It is really nice and confortables, the bedroom was really clean and nice. The breakfast was very good and alse the service.
