I visit the Advocate relatively regularly and am impressed with the attentive and polite service as well as the quality and presentation of the food. I would be happy to recommend the Advocate to anyone who enjoys good quality and good value for money.

Large room, number 7, with king bed. Nice breakfast, but would have liked to be offered more than a cup of coffee. No food after 6.30pm on a Sunday and no draught beer as the cooler was broken.

We stayed here after a race meeting at the local track which is a 1 mile walk away. Very nice room, a nice bar area and we dined in the restaurant on our return from the races. The food was very good and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was also very good.

Stayed several times on business and number of colleagues use regularly. Rooms good, food decent, nice atmosphere and overall value for money. Way better than anything else in the vicinity.
