First time for me in this particular Premier Inn and despite the usual decor of this branded chain, a special mention must go to the staff on reception. Have to say when you have helpful staff working for you it goes a long way to making customers happy. The way to do this is to treat your staff well and... More

Really well located hotel, close to Great North Road, which had concerned me when booking but room was totally quiet, despite being on the side closest to road. Crown Pub next door did excellent food, although a little more costly than standard fare worth the extra. Recpetion staff at Premier Inn are really welcoming and friendly. More

I've stayed at this premier inn a number of times over the past few months and I've always found the staff very pleasant. The rooms are what you'd expect for a premier inn and it's surprisingly quiet for just being off some busy roads. I've always enjoyed my stay and the Crown next door is a pleasant place to eat... The hotel is just off a main road and wonderfully quiet and the attached restaurant is fabulous. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was great and we enjoyed a very peaceful and uninterupted night. More

My wife and I have stayed here on a number of occasions, along with our 6 year old daughter, and have always found the staff to be extremely helpful, and the hotel itself very comfortable. However on this last occasion they surpassed themselves when my daughter caught the dreaded "tummy Bug" which meant she was ill for the best part... More

My family and I stayed here for two nights, and on the 2nd day our daughter fell ill. The reception and housekeeping staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help us, providing additional linens, towels and teas. We were booked to move to another PI on the second day, but had to extend our stay here; the Reception staff... More

I don't remember staying at a Premier Inn for a long time and was really pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The rooms are smart and clean, so is the bathroom, good shower, towels good, all linen clean and fresh in the bedroom, huge double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The lighting was nice, TV , kettle, etc,... More

Stayed at this Premier Inn on our way to London. It’s location is quite close to Cambridge which we visited for the afternoon. The room was the standard Premier Inn family room layout with kingsize , sofa and pull out bed. The bathroom was clean and again the usual standard you receive in Premier Inns. Our only complaint was that... More
