Whilst climbing the munros in the area we stayed for one night with our 2 dogs. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was great. Internet access was available which was extremely useful to get the mountain weather forecast. I would certainly stay there again. Johnny Cool more

We stayed here on the WHW - very welcoming staff, nice meal, warm room - could not have asked for anything more. more

As you come over the hill from Bridge of Orchy and look down into the valley and see the Inveroran Hotel you would probably, at that moment, say you’d seen few sights better. It’s in a great location: slap bang on the West Highland Way and last opportunity to stop before the Rannoch Moor stage. We hadn’t booked (!!) so... more

Like almost everyone else, we stayed here while walking the West Highland Way. Though certainly not a "fancy" hotel (we stayed in others that were), the Inveroran Hotel was our favourite stop by far. The service was simply spectacular - every single member of staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable,... more

Like other reviewers, I spent one night here while walking the West Highland Way. The day was wet, windy, and cold so I was relieved to finally arrive. The reception hostess was only moderately welcoming ("here's your key, you're upstairs"); the room was extremely small and the bathroom down the hall. After a long, cold, wet day walking, I would... more

Arrived dripping wet to a warm welcome. Wet clothes were taken away and returned dry in the morning. Clean rooms, hot water, bar, great dinner and breakfast. What more do you need! more

We reached the Inveroran Hotel at the end of a rainy day of walking on the West Highland Way, and it was the perfect place to stay. It's in a tranquil and beautiful location with stunning views, the food was wonderful, and we met great folks. Room was comfortable and spacious, but not fancy. more

Inveroran Hotel was obviously a lovely hotel in it's day. It's history is very interesting and in it's day it catered for well to do folk. It now however is sadly needing a lot of money injected into it. We were met at reception by a very welcoming Polish girl . We were walking the West Highland Way and had... more

I stayed at the Inveroran Hotel when walking the West Highland Way. Having read the other reviews here I am puzzled. Firstly the location is remarkably beautiful and tranquil. I had the best nights sleep there out of the 6 nights on the trip. We had a very warm welcome at reception and were shown to a very comfortable and... more

Fantastic location, set in a remote glen away from the main tourist area of Glen Orchy and a perfect base for exploring the nearby munros and lochs. The hotel itself looked a little tired but had character. The hotel owner was friendly and helpful but she was there only briefly. The rest of the staff (locals from Glen Orchy) were... more
