The Halfway House offers good value for money with very comfortable, clean and modern accommodation. Audrey and Mike went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and were extremely welcoming and helpful (as did all the staff). The breakfast is second to none. In the halfway house the room was clean & comfortable,audrey & mike very freindly,the food was so good breakfast you are offered cereal,fruit,large cooked breakfast anything you want & cooked well,so we had our evenig meal there too.I have recommended it to everyone we were very pleased with our stay & will return when possible

Disappointed in general poor appearance inside and cheap tacky bedroom fittings. Worst of all the terrible smell of cigarette smoke on the landing to the accommodation which was present all the time is not acceptable. Despite this the staff were pleasant and the food excellent. We feel the cost per night is too much for the low standard of accommodation.
