A very nice hotel where we stayed for 3 nights, good bed, big room clean and excellent breakfast, very reasonable priced.
We stayed two nights just after Easter, and were the only ones staying in the hotel, though some were staying in the cottages and so there were quite a few full tables at dinner, which was imaginative and well served. The weather forecast wasn't too good but it brightened up the day after we arrived so we then went for...

Stayed for one night which was pre booked via late rooms, this meant we saved £15 on the usual price. We were on bikes and it was so difficult to find but we didn't really do enough research before hand. When we finally arrived at the hotel, totally exhausted, we checked in and asked where we could leave the bikes....

Peeling wallpaper, blue cleaning product stains in the bath that gradually turn the bath water blue as you soak and there was visible mould. At breakfast, usually where small hotels and B&Bs excel there was a meagre continental breakfast selection with no marmalade and on the second day when we turned up half way through service there were no glasses...

A large stone-built former farmhouse with outbuildings converted into holiday cottages. My wife and I stayed in the main building and cannot comment on the cottages. Very quiet location, but not easy to find despite the signs. We were not sent any directions when we booked. We checked in late afternoon prior to going out to meet friends for the...

Great clean and comfortable hotel, beautiful rooms, clean and tidy, but the service is killing it. Absolutely not trained staff (dhey looked like group of youngsters) especially in the restaurant. Terrible breakfast reheated in microwawe oven. Dinner was'nt great either. When i sended my breakfast back (because it was blind, testless and unedible) The waiter was just laughing and did'nt...

My hubbie and I stopped at the gellifawr for a long weekend from the 30th June, and absolutely loved it. We initially booked for bed and breakfast in the hotel, but with a lap over in bookings meant we were allocated one of the cottages in the courtyard, but with breakfast included in the price. We were very fortunate with...

Hotel is very difficult to find. Long windy narrow lane and dangerous. We met several vehicles along the way including a milk lorry it was a near miss!!
When we arrived it looked very pretty. It became very clear from the beginning that staff werent interested, when we could find somebody!! Our cottage was damp and needed updating there was...

We stayed at the Gellifawr the night before the Heineken Cup final in May.. We travelled from Rosslare on the overnight ferry, arriving in Fishguard at 00.45AM. Gellifawr is only a 20 min drive from Fishguard - however, the last few miles are on really narrow roads (two cars could not pass each other) - you have to trust sat-nav!...
