My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and were delighted with the place, the food and service in The Stables is fantastic and Richard gave us a warm and helpful welcome. We were let down in the morning by the older lady running the place who was blunt, unhelpful and keen to get us out. Let down More

Our daughter was married in Soughton Hall in December 2011.The venue was excellent.The hall looked magical with its lavish Christmas displays and decorated trees. The food and service were excellent and we had a truly memorable day. Well done to Annette, Jane and all staff! More

The hotel is very tired and the service was poor. The rooms were badly serviced and carpets were worn and stained. The curtains fell down and not repaired. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. More

We attended a Wedding Reception. The Wedding Breakfast was very good although some guests were refused extra wine. Beautifully restored bedrooms, excellent food at the stables and very good service. Ask for mahoganny or cane if you're on business as the wifi is available there. Excellent breakfasts, cooked and continental with lovely fruit, yoghurts, cheese and meat. Highly recommended for business and pleasure. More
