This is an excellent choice for accommodation while touring the Salzburg area or attending one of the music festivals here. Located in the tiny village of St. Leonhard where the chuch in which Holy Night was composed, first performed, and performed every Christmas eve. Hotel Untersberg is a wonderful hotel situated in the mountains, about 15 minutes away from Salzburg. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the hotel is relatively new. An outstanding breakfast is also included in the price. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to all of my friends! more

A great place to stay while in the Salzburg area. It has a bus stop right out back to take you into Salzburg with no hassel with the car. Just min away from the Salt mines and Eagles Nest. We have stayed at this hotel 4 times now. Rick Oklahoma more
