I stayed here over Easter for three days 10th - 13th April with my wife. I had tried to stay here over a number of week-ends a few years ago but it was always full. This was a last minute booking and we got the last room. The rate was superb £129 per person for 3 nights B&B and 2... more

I spent a weekend break here with 4 other friends and it was absolutely brilliant. We arrived on Friday afternoon about 3pm and spent the rest of the afternoon settling into our rooms and sitting by the roaring fire in the snug beside reception drinking hot chocolate and coffee. We had an absolutely gorgeous meal in the hotel on Friday... more

We had a fantastic start to our holiday in Ireland thanks to this hotel and its staff. The rooms were very clean (even the valances on the beds were changed during the 4 nights we were there!), every member of the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Each room had a walk in shower, full size bath, 2 double beds,... more

I and my family (and the dog!) regularly stay here for weekend breaks. Accommodation is very good - clean and comfortable. The staff go out of their... more

Nice relaxing hotel to spend a few days, The rooms are large, bright, clean and warm. The huge portions of home cooked food are served in a nice bar that has real fires for those chilly nights. Good to sit by the fire with a large Bushmills watching the rain. Breakfast is really good to, nice to get Potato cakes... more

I'm not sure where to begin with a hotel this bad. We were looking for a hotel where we could bring our dog - for some reason, much harder to find in Northern Ireland than in the Republic. After an idyllic week around the coast of Ireland, this place was a terrble shock to the system. This hotel wasn't even... more

Well....Mr Chucklers stayed here about 13 years ago on a stag night so didn't have too many preconceptions! This time around it was the day after Mr & Mrs Chucklers became the 'Chucklers' officially! Wedding was in the City Hall, Belfast, followed by the Merchant Hotel (see previous reviews). Anyway, because our honeymoon was not possible until July, our good... more
