... customer service was poor. Suffered a confrontational attitude from one member of staff over breakfast. He insisted the inclusive English breakfast was not. Turns out he was wrong but only after making a minor scene out of it in front of the other guests. more

A mixed bag at the White Hart, I'm afraid. Wonderful location, its easily accessible within the gorgeous but quaint Martock. A warm welcome from the owners made this hotel a pleasant place to stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm, so nice to return to after an evening out in mid- November! There is an excellent bar and cosy seating. There are 2 dining-rooms, well presented and inviting, oh! and a French chef in the kitchen! more
