We stayed for one night and discovered a jewel! Excellent decoration in room 6, friendly and effective staff and a great breakfast. We will have to find more work in the area so we can return.

Nicely redecorated and refurbished rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent full English breakfast . I said I would like evening meals and that was fine. Only one downside - lots of stairs including outside the back of the building, so not recommended for the elderly or infirm. Otherwise very good.

Nothing too much trouble. Even asked what time I wanted breakfast!! As a business traveller with early starts, this was great.

A warm evening, with 10-12 outside the open front door smoking, the barman was also nipping in and out for a pull on his roll-up. Bedroom door had been forced at sometime and was very hard to shut and lock. The sink in the room was about 12" wide and hard to wash in. I will not be rushing back... More

Stayed at the riverside on New Years Eve what a lovely couple Dave and Jackie are was made to feel like one of the family would recomend the riverside to singles couples and families. Thanks for making New Years Eve so special
