We were rather concerned about the reviews here but for family reasons it was convenient so off we went. First night was OK - 6 foot bed and if the floodlights still tended to creep round the edge of the thick curtains at least they kept out most of the light. My wife and I ,both late seventies,were give a room in the attic,which even in April was excessively hot. The en suite lacked a plug in the whb. The toilet seat area needed a thorough clean. This is a hotel of 2 halves. Refurbishment may have taken place, but I would question where as there were so many knocks and grazes along the corridors, skirtings, bath panels etc that it felt slightly sorry.
