Have stopped here many times over the years and seen the ups and unfortunately the downs of The Swan, but this time they have raised the bar. The service was very fast , friendly and efficient, the room was lovely with plenty of hot water, and the breakfast super. Will certainly visit again. more

Just 20 mins from Stansted and a double room with full English for £49? Sounded too good to be true, but this lovely old pub turned out to be a winner. We stayed there while attending a near-by wedding (this was one of the hotels that the wedding couple had taken a block of rooms). The rooms were small but functional.
