However, it cost well over £100 per night and I have stayed in a large number of hotels with similar standards and far lower prices ! We booked 2 months in advance and purchased the room for a bargain £68 for 2 adults and 2 children, bed and breakfast. We have stayed in a number of different 'chain' hotels but this was a first for Ramada Jarvis. The hotel staff were polite and helpful but the hotel is outdated and the rooms are in need of a revamp, they are small, cramped and unappealing. The furniture is outdated and shabby. Stayed here for 1 night, while attending a friends party a few miles away. Very friendly greeting by all staff. Room adequate, but nothing special. Walked to nearby Service station to supplement minimal tea & coffee facilities (no bikkies!) . Didn't use pool facilities. We stayed at the Ramada Farnham for one night....much to my relief. Our double room was shabby and smelt damp....the only 'modern' touch was the flat screen TV! which was heavily outweighed by the old peach wallpaper, wardrobe from th 60's and the blue patterned chair that was old & stained. We stayed there for just one night and found the place was clean, the staff helpful and polite. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner nor breakfast so can't comment on the food.
