We reguarly go to the Olde Coach House and the food is always amazing, freshly cooked, really good variety to choose from and there is always attention to detail. Each time we've been we've always come away feeling like we've had a lovely meal. The service is friendly and really efficient too. I'd recommend it to anyone.
We live reasonably locally and having heard good reports we went for lunch with friends between Christmas and New Year 2011. We arrived at 12.45pm and the bar and restaurant were already quite busy BUT it was clear that the fires had only been lit about 15 minutes! It wasn't a particularly cold day (good job) but it was distinctly...

Went there for dinner and don't get me wrong, it's not a terrible place, it's just it's not up to the standard of other similar places. First thing I noticed was the decor, although not shoddy or dirty or untidy, looked mish-mash and badly thought out. Secondly there were a number of elderly people in the party and they were...

Lovely stay, fantastic food but the main plus point is the excellent service the staff provide. Make sure you are hungry for breakfast as it is huge. On a negative avoid room 2 as it is very near to the chiller/extracor fan from the kitchen.
We have stayed here a few times - but our most recent stay was for our Son's wedding (the Reception/meal and evening was also held here) There are only six rooms, but the four we have seen are very similar, all are simply but adequately furnished. Tea / coffee making facilities are in each room (plus a kit-kat chocolate bar!)...

We did not stay at this hotel, but went for a meal! My husband had been there on many occasions with work colleagues and decided to take me for a meal! I would have been better off at the local chippy and a bottle of wine from the supermarket! When we arrived we asked if there was a table for...

At The Olde Coach House we are striving for a high standard of food & service - which we obviously didn't achieve on this occasion.
I have discussed your comments with the kitchen team, who will do their utmost to ensure your experience is not repeated.
We offer a fixed price menu from Monday to Friday (before 7:30pm). This menu...

We had a wonderful stay here - it was brief as we were just passing through but the room was lovely - staff friendly and the food brilliant - would love to go back soon for a longer stay. excellent value for money.
We stayed overnight on a Saturday night. Our room was very large with a big comfy bed. The bathroom was fine (shower but no bath, didn't bother me). It looks as if it has been recently renovated and the decor was pleasant. Breakfast (full english) was excellent. The village of Ashby St Ledgers is very pretty and the OCH fits...

We have visited The OCH for dinner a number of times but popped in for a casual lunch with family today. Full menu available as well as sandwiches. Enjoyed one of their popular grazing boards, (whitebait, smoked Salmon, mackerel, Thai fish cake, fresh bread, salad & dips), local ham, eggs & chips, as well as delicious baguettes accompanied by home...
