Booked a last minute room as a family. Great welcome and great location. Owners very nice and accommodation very clean. Great value for money. Good beer in the pub and breakfast very nice. Locals were welcoming. Rooms located in motel style building in car park so no noise from pub. Best nights sleep I've had in a long while. We... More

We stayed as a family at this hotel and the actual Fairy Falls waterfall is beautiful. There are lots of lovely walks to do and there is a really well-kept park for the children nearby with swings and slides. The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are large and clean - they are basic, nothing fancy but, as previous people... More

Quaint accommodation in a small Welsh village, sandwiched between the river and the local pub. Good sized en-suite room with lovely decor, and a hot shower and comfy bed after a day's hiking... we had our dog with us and he was permitted both in the pub and the hotel room. The owners are very hospitable and served up a... More

From the outside, this appears to be a quaint pub in a tranquil village, but it is clearly also the choice of the local youth, which somewhat spoilt the tranquility. The staff and management were but very welcoming to all visitors, but the regulars were less than compliant, leaving us feeling like we were invading their space. I cannot fault... More

This is a no frills, traditional village pub with a separate accommodation block offering motel style rooms. The pub is obviously popular with the locals and a lively place to spend a Saturday night but very welcoming to visitors too. I cannot fault the welcome we received or the service from all the friendly bar staff, and the evening meal... More

Firstly the location: Trefriw is only a short drive away from the tourist "honey pot" of Betws-y-Coed, but is much quieter and retains more of its charm. The village is well located for easy access to the coast, Bodnant Gardens and Snowdonia. It also has its own attractions on the doorstep: two miles along a single-track road with infrequent passing... More

We have been to this pub/hotel many times over the years. Last year new owners updated the place and now it is even better. The rooms are in a separate block from the pub and you have your own front door. Lovely comfortable rooms with a large bathroom and very hot water - lovely to soak in after long walks.... More

Had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago whilst on holiday in the area - didn't use the accommodation so cannot comment about it. There was an excellent choice of specials to choose from, which we all did - the food was lovely, all freshly prepared - I especially enjoyed my salad that came with my chicken dish, watercress,... Lovely area to have a pub with rooms available, this was our second visit as we love the waterfall & countryside so much. The rooms have been decorated & sound proofed since we visited last, we had a family room again on the second floor of the accommodation, clean, tidy & suitable for our teenagers. The small double is a... More
