Stayed here whilst on business and loved the location - out in the countryside and very peaceful, the night sky is amazing for any stargazers! Was lovely to arrive to see a row of ducks walking through the yard. Rooms were spacious and light. This is a place where families/friends can stay as there is ample grounds where the children... Glynhir is made ip of several cottages, flats and the mansion b&b. We stayed in the stable flat which is a very old building with wonky floors which add to the charm. Bathroom is modern and clean. Kitchen had all you need. There are lovely walks around the estate including one to a beautiful waterfall. There are free roaming peacocks,... More

My second stay at Glynhir, last time was about two years ago. This time I stayed in one of the self-catering apartments, although as I was part of a large group we had catering laid on for us in the main dining room. As before, the food was excelent, mostly home grown on the estate. Salad greenery picked fresh from... More

We have had one of the best Easter breaks ever! There was a fantastic group of families at Glynhir. The adults got on famously and the children (19 of them, ranging from 1 to 12) had an absolute blast!! It really was a wonderful holiday. The weather was on our side too, we had a couple of days at the... More

My wife discovered the Glynhir Estate early in 2010, and we stayed in August 2010, in a self catering cottage. The cottage had lovely big rooms, with a log fire - which we only lit once, as the weather was so lovely we didn't need to. There is oil central heating as well, which we didn't need either. There is... More

We've stayed at the Glynhir estate 4 times now and each time has been wonderful. The accommodation is not plush, but clean, comfortable and feels like home. The estate is absolutely beautiful and to be honest, even if it's awful weather, which is often is.......... rain coats and wellies and it doesn't matter. Swansea is also only half an hour... More

I'd go back to Glynhir at the drop of a hat and have spent several lovely breaks there. Check out the website for lots of beautiful photos that go some way to capturing this fab place to stay. It ouzes period elegance at every turn yet also packs in all the rural niceties you could want - beautiful grounds, walled... More

The Estate is simply beautiful. Lush gardens and beautiful wildlife, with lovely woodland walks in the area. I would describe myself as a foodie and I must say all meals were second to none - freshly prepared with locally sourced produce. We were lucky to be served produce grown on the estate, as well as beautiful fresh eggs cooked to... More

I went here as part of a photo workshop and so i spent my time just on the estate, exploring and taking taking photos. The rooms are split to parts of the estate like the main house, the brewers house etc., they are well kept and quiet. Lovely textured giant timbers and stone work in the buildings make it look...
