Stayed at this hotel with my wife for 2 nights as we were attending a friends wedding nearby.

We had driven a long way to get there but first impressions were not good. Entering the small reception area, we were greeted not with a 'hello' or 'welcome' - but simply with 'Surname?'. On entering our room we were again unimpressed. Although it was a hot day when we arrived, the room was like a sauna - I can only imagine that the room was located above the kitchen. There was also a strange noise just outside the window and when I looked, there was a large extractor fan on the outside wall of our room.

Looking around the room it was dirty and in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet was dirty with plenty of marks and dust about, and there were several stains/marks on the wall too. The bathroom wasn't much better and was not as clean as you would expext.
