This once-grand hotel enjoys a fabulous setting above a bay on Scotland's north-east coast which, as other reviewers have noted, provides excellent walking opportunities and very good views. Popped in recently for a lunch. The young waitress was very efficient and friendly (if only more waiting staff could be like her). Had some of the delicious home made Cullen skink and a freshly prepared sandwich and the surroundings are very pleasant. It was a sunny day so we were treated to a superb view.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions. Business and pleasure. It has the most beautiful view from the conservatory. The food is nice, the rooms are ok. The staff are accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
