The acceptable things about the hotel- the location is great for a lovely walk along a golf course, the breakfast was OK, and we had tea facilities in our room. But the state of the bedrooms was poor! Our sea view bedroom smelled of dirty laundry and damp, which three days of open windows didn't solve, the bathroom was disgusting... more

Over the past eight years which my family and I have owned the Hotel we have strived and will continue to offer good friendly service and high standards of quality throughout. Many of the rooms have been redecorated and refreshed and I would add that as a result we have received a great amount of positive feedback from many customers...

We visited Cullen for a close friends wedding. As it was such a long way to travel we decided to make a holiday of the trip. As we were staying a few nights in Cullen we thought we would treat ourselves and go for the best place in Cullen and spend our precious hard saved pennies of a nice hotel.... more

wish I had read review for this old smelly hotel . We were shocked by state of room. Upon entering hotel the first thing you notice is the smell of mould or something nastier it surrounds you like some nasty fog ! Upon being shown our room it was like stepping back in time with added grott thrown in for... more

We had never been to area before and were really impressed with Hotel, right from our arrival the staff and owners were friendly and could not be more helpful during our weekend stay. It had a great relaxed family feel, views were stunning and a real hidden gem, will certainly return and have been telling friends all about area and... more

At first glance this looks like a nice hotel, it is in an excellent position on a headland overlooking the sea, the golf course and the village of Cullen. Parking is to the side and rear; behind the hotel a garden has been planted but it is next to what looks like a scrap heap. Downstairs the public rooms are... more

The en suite bathroom was fitted with power shower and was spotless. Superb views over Cullen Bay and the beach / golf... more

We only stayed one night, and were too late for dinner, although it smelled pretty good. The hotel was in pretty good shape on the surface, although the rear entrance from the car park was a bit grubby, and the views of the kitchens, etc. are not what you want to see as your first impression. Bedroom decor was fine,... more

The staff at Cullen Bay are unbelievably friendly and helpful, although the hours they work are a bit frightening. The food's great and it's a lovely location. Our only problem was that the internet connection didn't work. We've not had problems anywhere else, so we assume the free-hotspot is not so hot. more

This is an excellent hotel with a fine view overlooking Cullen Bay. Although I only stayed one night it was plain to see that a lot of effort has been made to make this hotel a pleasure to stay in. The ensuite rooms provided for all needs including a filter coffee machine! The staff were very accomodating, even providing dinner... more

I have just returned from a one night stay at this Hotel, The owners and staff were excellent not had such great service in a Hotel for years, nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the Hotel at night and the food was very good. The only thing I would say that let the Hotel down was the... more
