i have just returned from an easter weekend break in this hotel and cannot tell you how disappointed i was. ten minutes after we checked in on the friday afternoon we received a phone call saying that there was a private party on saturday night and there maybe some noise. the private function started at 930pm and continued until 2am.... more

I was terribly disappointed with Seafield Arms Hotel and could not wait to leave. I was in the area to view a property and thought a 3 star hotel was better than the other accommodation I found on the internet. First room very noisy because of hot water heater in loft; moved to another excellent room after complaining for remainder of stay. Food not good, seemed to be left overs from Sunday lunch!!!!!!! more

TERRIBLE we booked a delux room what a joke.decor needed done 5 years ago.stains in wall and ceilings.whole hotel not worth money all carpets ripped and worn.paintwork terrible.has been a good hotel at one point but ownwers clearly not putting any profit back into mainaining standards. W e were asked if we wanted a ''superior room'' and we both (2 couples) said yes. They were both extremely disappointing and in fact our friends asked to be moved to another room. This hotel has, unfortunately slipped downhill under new ownership. The lounge is still a very nice place for a drink but the dinner service was chaotic when we visited in July. Long wait to be taken through to the dining room and then some orders were coming out of the kitchen wrong. Staff not coping at all. Don't know what... more
