I stayed at this hotel in July 2009 while walking the Cateran Trail though Perthshire with my mum. The hotel is excellently positioned for the trail.
Service was very friendly. The hotel seemed to be run by a couple, with just a couple of staff to help them, but there was always somebody on hand to help us out.

The room we had was not the most spacious but other than that it was perfect, and the space was more than adequate.

We had dinner in the hotel, in the bar area. It was lovely. The food was very nice. Excellent service. And also a lovely atmosphere.

We just stayed one night, but noticed there was a lovely residents lounge which would be nice to hang out in if your stay was a little longer.

Breakfast was very nice. The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked.

I would love to stay here again. more
