The history of the Sagadi manorial estate dates back more than 500 years. Today, the former granaries, stables, dairy house, carriage house, cow barns, and other buildings have new functions. Sagadi is the site of a forest museum, a manor museum, a nature school, a hotel, and a restaurant. The Sagadi manor complex is an architectural monument of national importance, and it is rare due to its completeness. The Sagadi hotel is located due east from the bell tower that has become the symbol of the manorial estate, in the historic circular stables building. The hotel has 28 comfortable and cosy guest rooms. The manorial estate has also a 35-bed hostel on the grounds for the guests opting for more modest accommodation. The hostel can also be efficiently used as a venue for various social events.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

So beautiful and so peaceful. Our room was more like a suite, very warm and comfortable. Located next to the manor house amidst beautiful grounds and gardens even on a rainy day in November. I can only imagine how beautiful the gardens are in spring and summer. A five minute drive to the Heritage Trail with other trails and small villages nearby. The staff was generous with their knowledge of the area including other places to eat. Their breakfast (included) was great and we had a wonderful dinner at the Manor.

The grounds are beautiful! Beware that there is no AC in the rooms. We had booked a superior room with a terrace. The first room we were assigned was unbearably hot as it faced the direct sun. The staff helpfully gave us a different room on the other side of the hotel, which was much better, but still a bit warm for comfortable sleeping. We enjoyed a delightful dinner on the terrace.

We stayed in this hotel for the weekend and enjoyed the visit a lot. We had a spacious room on the 1st floor, with a small terrace facing the inner yard. Clean, fresh air indoors, practical slide door closet. Excellent shower and comfy (not too soft) bed. Evening sun shines to room windows and terrace, but luckily room has blackout shades that prevent the room from becoming too warm. Note! Hotel organizes several activities. We participated in ”The Charms and Troubles of a Vodka-cellar”. We had an excellent guide Anne, who guided us through history of vodka in Sagadi/Estonia. Tasting included! Warm recommendation!

Great, cute place. The manor itself is not as quaint as I expected but the rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurant is nice, breakfast also pretty good. The best Lowry are the gardens as they are absolutely delightful. Would stay here again anytime. Beautiful nature all around.

Situated in a nice, quiet area. Great for walking around and taking pictures. Very friendly service. Absolutely fantastic menu in the restaurant although their breakfast was surprisingly plain. Clean room but unfortunately no minibar or refridgerator.

This comment relates to the excellent restaurant of Sagadi Manor where we had dinner twice. Great food and the local Apple Wine is of interest. Next time we will stay there, reading all positive comments! We are French, this is our first trip to Estonia and we know we will come back.

After spending 1 day at the manor, I realized how much effort has gone into making it a great place to stay. Super friendly and helpful staff, clean amenities, lawn mowned and flowers watered. The Loquiz adventure/quiz was a really tough nut to crack. Try the black garlic icecream at the restaurant! Picture is from a nature trail close by.

My wife and I booked the manor house and hotel as the venue for our wedding, and we were not disappointed with our decision. Firstly, the manor is a fantastically beautiful building with lovely grounds where we held our ceremony. Particularly the pond to the rear of the manor building which is a lovely romantic spot. The staff on hand were very helpful and attentive, and the restaurant provided a truly top class dinner for our guests, including putting together requested vegan options. We were especially lucky to be looked after by the wonderful Tiia Traks, who ensured that our day was taken care of and was a regular point of contact for all of our requests and questions. Further, she put us in contact with some local businesses who were able to supply some of the required services for our big day. We housed our guests in the hotel on the estate, who were more than pleased with the standard of their accomodation. We have stayed there on multiple occasions and are particularly impressed with the estates commitment to ecological and environmentally friendly products and amenities. If you are just passing by, you should definitely take the time to tour the manor, which is filled with fascinating historical items both from the history of the manor itself and Estonia in general. Further, the food provided in the restaurant it top class, locally sourced produce and makes for a wonderfully delightful meal. I have not gotten around to trying the bear yet, but if it is anything like the other menu options, it will be fantastic. We can not recommed Sagadi Manor enough, and it will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we'd again like to thank all of the staff for their hard work to help make our wedding day truly special.
