The location and the house are fantastic but the bathrooms are very small and dated (dodgy wooden sliding doors and carpet) and not very clean - the shower head was quite dirty and the toilet brush holder was horrible in our bathroom. This is a hotel I can't help returning to. My last stay was two years ago and standards are still as high; the welcome, food and general 'ambiance' are wonderful. I'm returning inorder to treat some good friends in September 2009. more

We went for a wekend break to Ees Wyke and were not disappointed. The hotel is in a lovely setting and the owners are very welcoming. The rooms are a little dated, but don't let that put you off.
