Although the hotel was clean and the staff pleasant, it left much to be desired in the soundproofing department. A lovely, friendly, traditional hotel. Good, home cooked, seasonal British food, a limited menu but it's all fresh, not microwaved or deep fat fried. Rooms could do with an update, but spotlessly clean, friendly staff and an excellent location. Very good value for the weekend breaks. more
