I stayed there for three months on contract with the UN. Rooms are nice, clean, private bath, large mosquito nets over the beds, cleaned daily. Soroti Hotel is one of the best hotels I visited for work reasons in Uganda. I have stayed there around 5 times in the past 3 years. It is very clean, has friendly staff, and good facilities. Before going to Soroti I couldn't find any reviews on hotels in Soroti. I wish I had! Soroti hotel is clean, well equipped and the staff are very friendly. You can't always get what you want from the menu, but that is due to shortage of ingredients. Above all I felt SAFE at this hotel and I highly recommend it... more
