Foinhaven was our home on Orkney for four nights. Our hosts were gracious, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. We enjoyed our daily breakfasts in their cozy kitchen and learned so much from our conversations with them. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. From its window, we could see Scapa Flow. Stayed here for two nights on a whistle stop tour of Orkney. 10/15 mins drive out of Kirkwall, Foinhaven is exceptionally comfortable and decorated to high standards. Our room was en-suite (as most if not all were) Digital TV (Freeview) in rooms along with tea/coffee making facilities. Ideal location for touring the Orkney mainland or Hoy, Flotta or Shapinsay.
