We had our wedding reception here in October 2009. We could not fault the service we received. The food was of an excellent standard and service was second to none. All the bedrooms were tastfully decorated and Jeevan and Sunny and all their staff (who worked like trojans) could not have been more helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly.... more

I understand since my last stay that the Steventon House hotel has gone under refurbishment and new management- and the place looks great with excellent service. I had a weekend away with my partner and we had absolutely great time. The place looks great and in an amazing location. We could enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside but... more

This hotel IS Fawlty Towers - complete with Basil Fawlty. It has such potential - nice country house with an interesting history (built by Singer Sewing Machine family - Isabella Duncan was a visitor, etc.) that has been neglected and then poorly converted to a hotel.
